September, 27, 2005 - LONDON (SHARECAST) - Online money transfer group NETeller enjoyed gains today after announcing that it officially signed up its 2,000,000th customer on 22 September.
Chief executive Gord Herman said, We have achieved this significant milestone within approximately a year of signing our millionth customer.
With over 1,700 online merchants serving our 2m customers in over 150 countries, NETeller is making steady progress towards its goal of becoming the dominant global online money transfer service.
The company also announced that director and executive vice president Dale Johnson will assume the role of president - Asia Region on an interim basis.
He will support and expand the work which vice president and general manager Benjamin Lee started in Asia, said the group.
While progress is being made, NETeller is seeking to accelerate the pace of its Asian programme in order to meet its key strategic objectives for this region. |
