October 7, 2005 - MoneyGaming has struck a deal with the Trinity Mirror Group to add a bit of fun to the publishing groups websites, used by 2.7m visitors.
The new co-branded site features popular games like Backgammon, Chess, Pool, Solitaire and Mahjong. MoneyGaming will gain access to all of the Trinity Mirror websites including Mirror.co.uk, Sundaymirror.co.uk and Sundaymail.co.uk, as part of the deal.
The MoneyGaming concept means that gamblers compete against other players, whereas on most other websites you play against the house. The games can be played in several different ways, from single-player to multi-player modes and against random opponents or friends.
Money Gaming President, Jonathan Caplan said, We saw an increasing amount of online poker and casino sites taking peoples money on the turn of a card or the spin of a wheel and felt it was time the public should be able to stake money on their own playing ability, rather than on chance. |
