October 29, 2005 - In another outrageous example of outside-the-box marketing, Internet casino GoldenPalace.com has tattooed the pregnant bellies of three Florida sisters who will promote the casino's brand at as many Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning games as they can.
Ann Zemen, Amy MacDonald, and Kathleen Van Dyck auctioned their bellies off to the highest eBay bidder, who turned out to be none other than the Internet casino and poker room GoldenPalace.com. The gaming site paid $5000 for the advertising space.
Living close to Raymond James Stadium and the St. Pete Times Forum - home of the Buccaneers and Lightning respectively - the three sisters plan to exhibit their bellies at as many games as possible as part of the auction agreement.
'We want to corner the market on innovative advertising,' said GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe. 'As we have seen with our previous pregnant belly billboards Amber Rainey and Elise Harp, this kind of advertising gets a massive amount of attention. We are pleased with this opportunity to promote our brand as well as help out the mothers-to-be with their future baby expenses.' |
