The Hatton vs. Maussa bout, the next fight Interpoker.com will sponsor, has captured the attention of boxing enthusiasts worldwide. Maussa, the WBA Champion, claimed his in title in June after pummeling the American Vivian Harris in just seven rounds. Having maintained a lifetime record of 39-0, Hatton anticipates a hard fight as he battles to simultaneously defend his IBF Light Welterweight Championship Title and capture the WBA World Championship Title.
"I saw him [Maussa] win the title against Vivian Harris and am expecting a very tough battle," said Hatton. He's going to be very dangerous and tough, everyone thought Harris would win but he [Maussa] is awkward and difficult to read which makes him very dangerous.
The undefeated 26-year-old won his title after defeating #1 world-ranked fighter Kostya Tszyu on June 4, 2005, with an 11th round TKO win, and is eager to secure his position as the worlds leading lightweight competitor. |
