• French Poker Tour Announces Winner

January 24, 2006 -- MONTREAL, Quebec – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The 2005-2006 French Poker Tour, hosted by L'association France Poker and sponsored by premier online poker room Everest Poker, has crowned its champion. On January 14, 118 players from all over France gathered at the Aviation Club de France in Paris to battle for the 20,000 euro freeroll prize pool. At the end of the day, Yohan Mullemeester emerged the winner, with Arnaud Grumiaux and Loic Dubois placing second and third, respectively. For his efforts, Mullemeester walked away with the 7,500 euro first prize. "Everest Poker would like to congratulate Mr. Mullemeester on his victory," said Sandrine Dubois, Everest Poker's French Marketing Manager. "He played with dazzling skill and is absolutely deserving of the title, 'French Poker Tour Champion.'"
