As Part Of Their Partnership With Top Boxing Promoters Dennis Hobson and Robert Waterman, InterPoker.com Earns Exclusive Sponsorship Rights To Ricky Hatton And Carlos Maussa’s Battle For The IBF And WBA World Championship Title November 18, 2005 - InterPoker signs long-term sponsorship deal with Dennis Hobson and Robert Waterman for Fight Academy. This deal gives InterPoker prime sponsorship of its forthcoming fights including the Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton, IBF Light Welterweight World Champion, historical unification fight with WBA Champion, Carlos Maussa, on Saturday November 26th at Sheffield’s Hallam FM Arena. Other forthcoming key fights include Clinton Woods in December and David Haye in January. Having maintained a lifetime record of 39-0, Hatton anticipates a hard fight as he battles to simultaneously defend his IBF Light Welterweight Championship Title and capture the WBA World Championship Title.
